We are open year round and accept literary works that have not been published elsewhere. Literary works are defined as fiction, non-fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, book reviews, literary commentaries (photography, visual art etc.), poetry, listicles, and writings within the aforementioned.
Poetry
- Three Poems: a special feature published every Wednesday. Submit THREE POEMS only.
- General Poetry: published any day of the week and can be poem of any length, defined as such based on title.
(IF you submit ONE or TWO separately titled poem(s), we will review this (these) and if considered, will publish under GENERAL POETRY.)
Fiction and Non-fiction
These should be no more than 2,500 words, except where otherwise waived.
- Book review and Commentaries
Submit work no more than 1,000 words.
- Essays
Previously unpublished essays should be no more than 1,500 words.
- Listicles
Submit literary work in this form of no more than 800 words.
Please include a short bio, social media handles, and photograph of yourself.
Be aware that we will edit your work and sometimes change the title. Where such is significant, we will notify and only publish when you give the go ahead.

Does Nantygreens pay for submissions?
No. We at this time do not pay for submissions.
Does Nantygreens accept simultaneous submissions?
Yes! Kindly notify us by sending an email to [email protected] stating this.
How soon can I submit again after a successful publication?
6 months. Kindly wait six months before submitting another piece, irrespective of the genres.
