GAB, the monthly village square of Spoken Word poetry, visual arts, other forms of arts expression and culture conversations, returns this December with GAB 2.0. The event is scheduled to hold on the 20th of December, 2018 at The Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos. Time is 5pm.

REZthaPoet and Temitope

The monthly event curated by Adebola Afolabi (REZthaPoet) and Temitope Ogunmokun (ChocolateonAir) had its debut edition on the 29th of November, 2018. This first edition pulled a young crowd of art lovers and performers who converged at the Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos. GAB 1.0 was an equal mix of conversation and performances, ranging from music to monologues to Spoken Word poetry. Some of the artistes that performed include EdezMusic, Tomiwa Sage, REZthaPoet, and Efe Paul Azino.

The December edition of GAB, tagged GAB 2.0, is scheduled to hold just before the start of the holidays and is expected to pull a crowd of mature art enthusiasts from different industries. The event is expected to provide a no-judgement space where appreciation for the arts, meaningful conversations, networking, and fun will all co-exist. If you are looking for someplace cool to hang out just before the holidays begin feel free to attend GAB on the 20th of December. We hear refreshments will also be provided on the house.
