Poetry Workshop – Verses for Healing
Nantygreens in conjunction with Elizade University, Department of English Language will be having a one day poetry workshop and open mic tagged Verses for Healing.
The workshop will be facilitated by Mrs Biola Olatunde and John Awodeyi.
Mrs Olatunde is a poet, Novelist, Radio/TV content writer and producer of the popular TV series – I NEED TO KNOW sponsored by the UNFPA.
John Awodeyi is a poet, singer and spoken word artist. Johnzoe, as he is fondly called, has mastered weaving words and leaving his audience in awe.
Dr Oripeloye Henry, Scholar of African Poetry and Cultural Studies, English Dept., O.A.U, Ife, will be taking the participants on Poetry and Healing: An Interface.
After the workshop, there will be an open mic for everyone attending to showcase their creativity.
Date: Friday, 8th December, 2017
Time: Workshop 10 am – 2 pm | Open Mic – 7 pm – 9 pm
Venue: Performing and Film Arts Theatre, Elizade University Ìlara-Mokin, Ondo State.
