Cassava Republic is inviting qualified women non-fiction writers from across the continent to apply for its writing workshop residency.
The 10-day workshop with the theme, Taboo, meaning forbidden, will “explore subjects from different angles, leading to a published collection of essays.”
The residency is open to Black women over 18 years domiciled in Africa, and will hold in July 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa, all-expense paid.
How to Enter:
Submit a short pitch of your take on the theme Taboo, as well as a first draft essay to be worked on during the residency.
