 Life is beautiful
 its intricacies intriguing
 one moment am a child 
 The next an adult
 Just YESTERDAY,
 I gave my mum a first kick,
 then a first cry 
 I had my first diaper changed, 
 then a first tooth and a first step.  
  
 TODAY, 
 I take a first step into the adult's world 
 expecting to do adult things  
 and the child in me vanished. 
 
 TOMORROW,
 I will be history 
 In the minds of loved ones
 My legacies will live on 
 while a new generation 
 springs
