A Song for the Bed of Liquid │ Psalmuel Benjamin Oluwasheun │ Poetry

I sing this day / the beauty of a bed / as a melody thrusts me a spoonful dough of kisses / before the playful blanket of waters / I minister in Psalms // hail tide/ hail still/ hail the aquatic queen/ that lives in this bed of liquid // I sing this day / a ballad of enthusiasm / for the soft wings / that comfort sailors / as gentle as a dove // hail tide / hail still / hail the aquatic queen that lives in this bed of liquid // I sing this day/ the same lyric that ‘ega’ (Nightingale) tweets /– this dawn / the Sun I see / his palms/ flirting on her / & mesmerizing the contours on her chest // hail tide / hail still / hail the aquatic queen that lives in this bed of liquid.
